Get Back in
the Game
Shoban Rahulapaskaran
Hey, I’m Shoban, and I’ve been a physiotherapist for over 12 years, all of which I’ve spent working in Singapore. I graduated from King’s College London in 2012 and made the decision to move from London to Singapore to start my career. It was a bit of a crazy idea, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I began working at Changi General Hospital before transitioning into private practice in 2015, where I’ve worked in several different clinics. In 2020, I co-founded my own clinic and grew it into a thriving multidisciplinary musculoskeletal centre. I recently stepped away from that venture because I realised my true passion lies in working with football.
And that’s where No Last Game comes in. I believe there’s a version of football for everyone, regardless of age, injury, or situation, and I’m here to help you keep playing. It bothers me to hear when players give up the game due to injuries or age, because I genuinely believe football is for everyone.
In addition to my one-on-one physiotherapy sessions, I’ve worked with Hougang United in the SPL and AFC from 2022-2024, and I’m currently with Tampines Rovers for the 2024-2025 season. My role involves taking care of injured players, covering training, and being one of the guys who runs onto the pitch during match days if a player goes down.
Outside of work, I’m a dad to a young boy who takes up most of my time. I love playing football and anything football-related—FM or FPL, anyone?—and I enjoy diving into Fantasy or Science Fiction books whenever I get the chance.
